Red light burning after removing charger

Asked by: Dakshina
If you mean the red LED light blinks after removing the JBL GO from the charger, that means the battery is still low. If it has been charging for a few hours and the light still blinks red, try using different USB charging cables or plug the charger on different charging ports/power outlets. If it will still not work, try doing a reset by following the instructions below: 1. Power on the JBL GO. 2. For 3 seconds, press and hold the Volume + button, and the Bluetooth button at the same time. 3. The JBL GO will power off, and is now reset. 4. Pair the speaker again with your device. If the issue persists, please submit a case at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and our Customer Service team will be glad to assist you.

Hi, could I please check on the following: Is the LED indicator supposed to turn purple when charging & playing at the same time? Are the volume buttons supposed to change the track for say, Spotify? Thanks.

Asked by: Cerv
The LED INDICATOR for the GO will still remain red while charging and playing music at the same time. We do not recommend you using the speaker while it is being charged, though, to avoid depleting the battery, making the play time shorter. The volume buttons do not skip tracks as the JBL GO only has the option to play and pause the music using the "Call/Phone" button.

When you connect 2 speakers via the Y connector to the source, is it mono or stereo?  Does it depend on the connector?

Asked by: PaulD
You can connect 2 JBL GO's together hard-wired using a aux-splitter cable but it will only produce mono audio output.

Can you keep this connected to the power source and use it at the same time? I would use it more indoors and only occasionally need to move it. Or do the directions indicate whether constantly charging it would reduce battery life? thanks!

Asked by: Chrissyb
Yes, it is completely safe to leave your GO portable speaker connected to the power whether it is in use or not. It won’t damage the battery, but take note that using your GO while plugged in will prolong the charging time.
