Having problems connecting with Samsung 6290. It doesnt pair with optical cable. How can I solve this?

Asked by: sipa
One thing that we have to make sure of is that the SB 350 is set to the Optical source. To do this, press the Source Select button on the SB350, and this button should turn amber. You can also press the Optical button on the SB350 remote which is the button below the Bluetooth button. If possible, also try using a different optical cable. If none of these things work, please submit a case at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

The pairing with the subwoofer is done correctly, but the signal drops in a few minutes, what to do?

Asked by: hidroxido
Sorry to hear of this problem you are having. Please make sure that the distance between the soundbar and subwoofer is no more than 50 feet (15.3m). Try and perform a reset on the sound bar by following these steps: 1. Switch the SB 350 ON. 2. Press and hold the Surround and Volume (–) buttons simultaneously for about 3-4 seconds, then let go. The Source selection Button flashes amber, followed by the power button. 3. The Soundbar is now reset. I noticed that you are in Brazil. If you are still experiencing issues, please submit a case at tecnica@harman.com and our Customer Service team will be glad to assist you.

I bought a cinema sb 350 sound bar. but subwoofer has tapping noise. I exchanged woofer once. but same problem. what is the problem? Optical cable? cable TV set-top box? or subwoofer? the tapping sounds stressful to me.

Asked by: Sean Moon
Please change the settings in your source unit to PCM digital audio output. If the issue persists, you may turn ON just the Sub-woofer and see if it will emit tapping noise. Also, please be aware that the maximum operating distance between the soundbar and subwoofer is approximately 50 feet. I noticed that you are in South Korea. If this cannot be prevented, please submit a case at support.apac@harman.com and our Customer Service Team will be glad to help you.

Yes. The SB350 is set to auto-volt so you can plug it into a 110-220 volt power outlet.
