Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome for the boat or golf cart I bought the Flip4 prior to our lake vacation and use on the boat. It's great and plenty loud! It's also great in the golf cart if you like to listen while golfing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better Than Previously Owned Speakers This is better than other speakers I have owned, is louder, works better, and is better looking :) I love the fact that it goes under water, that really comes in clutch since I'm always at a lake or pool in the summer. It connects quickly using Bluetooth and the Connect+ features. It's small and light which makes it easier for travel. It's very loud so I can hear it through my whole house but it doesn't make the music sound gritty, still very clear at loud volumes. And honestly I just love the colors it comes in. Would definitely recommend to a friend! (Actually I already have)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing speaker! Received this speaker as a safety bonus from my employer. I was sceptical but ended up amazed at its quality of sound and battery life. I've stopped using my outdoor home speakers since it is so handy and easy. I highly recommend it.

I have a Flip 3 and we love it.  Looking to add 1 or 2 more and connect together to expand the sound area on my patio.  Is the connect button on the 3 compatible with the new 4? or vice-versa?

Asked by: 76BlueHen
No, they are not compatible. Only the JBL FLIP 4 and PULSE 3 when released can be paired wirelessly. The FLIP 4 has the JBL Connect+ while the FLIP 3 has JBL Connect. JBL Connect+ is only compatible with JBL Connect+ speakers and vice versa.

Will the flip 4 fit inside the flip 3 case?

Asked by: JeffL
No, the Flip 3 carrying case is too small. At the moment, no carrying case is available for Flip 4. We suggest that you check out manufacturers that specialize in this kind of accessory.

Is the sound quality and bass quality as good as the charge 3? Volume too?

Asked by: Jives500
I would say that the overall sound quality is better than the Charge 3 at moderate volume. The Flip 4 doesn't have as much thump, but the bass is there. The Charge 3 is louder and maintains the increased bass to full volume. The Flip 4 sounds amazing at normal listening levels and has a much brighter sound, but does lose the bass at full volume. The upper range (highs) on the Charge 3 is a bit muted, but not with the Flip 4. I think the Flip 4 complements the Charge 3 very well, and can replace it if you don't require full volume.
