Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product !! Bought it two years ago and didn't have any major problems. Hi, I love my JBL! I have an OnBeat Venue, I use on my IPad. I am having lots of problems connecting my IPhone 5s. I would like the app and music to play on my phone. Can you help me? Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day.

Asked by: Jojofosse
Hello, Thank you for the inquiry. To connect docked try using a lightning to 30 pin adapter connecting the phone to the speaker. This is not guaranteed to work. To connect wireless. Press the Source button on the speaker until the Bluetooth symbol begins to flash blue. Search Bluetooth devices on your phone and connect to JBL OnBeat Venue. Stream music and enjoy. Best Regards.

JBL OnBeat Venue keeps powering off every 15 minutes or so when streaming music via Bluetooth. iPhone continues to show device is connected. Hit the power and everything is back.... for another 15 minutes. What can I do?

Asked by: Soulpiercing
The ONBEAT VENUE has power saving features. It is auto sensing and will turn off if no audio signal is detected for approximately 10 minutes. So, if you have the volume on the ONBEAT VENUE cranked up, and the volume on your source device set really low, it is very possible that the ONBEAT VENUE is not seeing enough of an audio signal to know to stay on. Please try turning the volume on the ONBEAT VENUE down a bit, and then crank up the volume on your source device to get to the level you desire. This will send a signal to the ONBEAT VENUE and it should stay on without any issues.

I can't get the volume to increase using my iPad. I need help to up the volume using my JBL ONBEAT VENUE

Asked by: KimEllen
This is correct. When docked, Apple does not utilize the volume control on the iPad. The volume is left to the speaker. You must adjust the volume on the ON BEAT VENUE.

Do you have adapters for the JBL OnBeat Venue so that I can use my iphone 5 instead of the iphone 4? I can't use the iphone 4 because the Pandora app won't work with the old operating system 7.0, it needs 8.0 to run the Pandora app

Asked by: Nana13
Apple manufactures and sells converters, to convert the original 30-pin connector over to the newer Lightning connector. You will need one of these converters in order to connect your iPhone 5.
