Product Actions

The center channel is the hardest working speaker in your home theater, and it’s no place to compromise. The Studio L Series delivers accurate performance, tight response, and crystal clear dialogue. The LC1 has a proprietary Polyplas™ woofer cone and FreeFlow™ technology for extended bass response with little distortion. Oversized Kapton® voice coils and a HeatScape™ motor give you exceptional power handling. The pure-titanium dome tweeter mounted in a proprietary Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal™ (EOS) Waveguide disperses the sound and eliminates the “sweet spot” conundrum. Sit wherever you like, any seat is the best in the house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very powerful and accurate I have been amazed at this excellent center channel speaker. So much so I bought another for my other system. Very smooth highs, natural mids, accurate bass. Excellent detail and effortless power handling. I now have one installed with my bedroom A/V system having 25 year old JBL XL 90 bookshelf speakers with sub, and another LC1 with my LR A/V system with a pair of powerful JBL L65 floor models as the front units.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing This is an amazing speaker, I have it paired with the L880s, I wasn't sure what to expect from this speaker on how much it really adds to the sound. It's a solid and well built speaker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spectacular! I really wanted a ES25 to match my ES20 fronts in my home theater, they are now obsolete, so I popped for the LC1 and couldn't be happier. Dialogue is crisp and clean, live music dvd's never sounded better. And the speaker looks great! Thanks JBL!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic This center speaker is similar to their EC35, which I have had since 2005. My EC35 Northridge center speaker produces voices that seem natural and at the same time, produces terrific Sci-Fi sound. This speaker has been used 335 days per year and will continue to produce excellent sound. I also have a pair of their front and rear bookshelf surround speakers. JBL are the BEST

How do you make the connections to bi amp the center channel speaker ?

Asked by: Tahir
If you have a receiver that has dual center channel speaker outputs, or a receiver that has individual channel preamp outputs and are using additional amplifiers for each output, you can remove the straps on your LC1 speaker terminals, and biamp by connecting each set of speaker terminals on your receiver and/or amplifier to the individual speaker terminals on the LC1. NOTE: NEVER connect to multiple amplifiers while leaving the straps on the speaker terminals. This will short the two amplifiers together and will blow both amplifiers in a heartbeat.
