Rated 5 out of 5 by from Job done right the first time. Got the new speaker for my swimspa. Water and wet hands required something hands free and water proof. I'm a Google guy so this is perfect. Responsive to my voice commands and sounds clear and thump when playing music. Excellent choice if you need something by the pool, jacuzzi, shower... anyplace that might get wet. Wonderful product. Maybe some colors or even floating in next model?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deep Bass and crisp sound overall We added this to our T-Mobile account to make up for the Tap we bought last year. This speaker exceeded all of our expectations in terms of how well it projected the sound and that we can link it to similar devices. Excellent buy!

Your WiFi had a long enough interuption that you may have to reset via Google home app. I have wireless internet and sometimes that happens.

How do you avoid the (any) speaker from being voice activated when you say "ok google" to your phone?

Asked by: ElliotS
In theory, if your speaker is linked to the same Google account and on the same wifi network as your phone, only the speaker should respond. In practice, it seems like a lot of people have this issue with a variety of phones and Google Assistant enabled speakers.

Hi ! I just bought link 20 and it works fine as google home speaker, but when i connected it to my phone via BT and tried to watch a youtube video , the was a noticeable lag in audio, is it fixable?

Asked by: AlekseyS
This is absolutely common behavior of bluetooth audio devices and is normal.. bluetooth device have to support some low latency codec like aptx low latency... if not - audio during videos is just not synced properly

How is this integrated with smart hubs? Smartthings maybe?

Asked by: Fearz
Not sure what you mean by integration but I setup my SmartThings hub in the google home app. So now all of my devices connected to the hub can be controlled with google assistant.

I am considering purchasing this for a gift for my parents would the sound be good for a tv?

Asked by: Pierce
This is the wrong thing to get if you want to add better audio to a TV. You're going to want either a sound bar, or sound base, or a powered pair of speakers to go on either side. The JBL Link series don't have any way to receive the TV's audio.
