Follow up question on the Club 5501 powering two Stage 810 subs: in the owner's manual it states the RMS for the 8" sub at 200 watts RMS, and the 12" at 250; which is the actual RMS for the 8" - 200 or 250 RMS? 50 watts makes a major diffe

Asked by: Bass In Ya Face
As stated in the manual, the 8" has an RMS rating of 200 watts, while the 12" has an RMS rating of 250 watts. So yes, the 8" can handle 200 watts, not 250.

Will this fit in my door where my shaker 500 8" woofers were? I have a 2007 mustang GT.

Asked by: Cauyyy
Checking on the Ford Mustang GT, it uses an 8" midrange/mid-bass speaker on its lower front door. If this is what you are looking to replace, the STAGE 810 would not be your best option. The STAGE 810 is a subwoofer where its purpose is to help with ONLY the sub frequencies (~20Hz - 200Hz) which is different from a midrange. And subwoofers, like the STAGE 810 are designed to be built a box for.

I am looking to purchase two of these subs. Being rated at 200 watts RMS, would you recommend your smallest JBL Club 5501 mono amp rated at 550 watts RMS at 2ohms, or would it overpower the subs being 75 watts over?

Asked by: Bass In Ya Face
The JBL Club 5501 amplifier's power output is 550 watts RMS at 2 ohms. The JBL Stage 810 sobwoofer can handle 250 watts RMS at 4 ohms. When two subwoofers are connected, this amp will provide 275 watts RMS (2 ohms) to each unit. The excess wattage will not overpower the Stage 810.

Does this work as a replacement for 96380 3k 200 2008 hyundia sonata

Asked by: Geor
Unfortunately, we cannot determine if the speaker will fit in your truck. It is a custom install that requires an enclosure, so only you and your installer can determine if and where it will fit.

I have a 2004 Toyota 4-Runner and back sub is blown, did u think the STAGE 810 is also an 8" (200mm) sub is the correct replacement. STAGE 810 is a 4 ohm is that the same as the one that I am replacing.

Asked by: Miko Glenn
The sub should work as long as it will physically fit, and being that this is a 4 ohm sub, not 2 ohm, you should not have any problem with impedance.
