connected sandisk pendirve to usb port on AVR 101 .it shows usb is empty but pendirve having mp3 formats songs. can you explain how to play songs from usb port on AVR 101

Asked by: Raoo
Hi, You should be able to play MP3 files from a USB drive on the AVR101. Make sure that the USB drive is formatted on FAT32 format. Also make sure there are no other ( hidden ) files on the USB drive. If you wish to place MP3 files in folders, this is possible, but you can't create sub-folders in these folders. Should you require more information, please contact your local customer support team

Hi I want to know how to get tv audio to AVR 101 and How to play USB video through AVR??

Asked by: Vivek Gangwar
Actually, your questions are answered if you read the owner's manual. The HDMI inputs transmit both video and digital audio from a source device to the AVR 101. This is standard HDMI functionality. Please note this, shown on page 7: "Make sure the HDMI-equipped display is HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection)-compliant. If it isn’t, do not connect it via an HDMI connection; use an analog video connection instead and make a separate audio connection." USB video is not possible, this is an audio input port only. See page 12 under USB Port for further information.

Hi, What are the THD vs. output power levels for a 3Ohm load(subwoofer)? Thank you

Asked by: IulianCioarca
Hello! Thank you for your message. THD means total harmonic distortion. it is usually only specified for the power amplifier, not for line-level outputs. If you sub-woofer is indeed a 3 Ohm design then it must be a passive box. The AVR 101 cannot drive a 3 Ohm load. In surround you need an active sub-woofer. The AVR 101, is specified 0.9% THD at 75W per channel. if you need more help concerning this, please contact our help-desk.

How many speakers can I hook up to the AVR 10? Will a pair of Studio 290, and a Studio sub 250p work?

Asked by: Saumanngalaxy
Hi, The AVR101 is a 5.1 channel AV Receiver. You can choose of course to only connect 2 front speakers and a subwoofer, theoretically turning your 5.1 channel to a 2.1 channel receiver. If you require any further information, please contact us at our Customer Service department
