Rated 5 out of 5 by from I owned a pair of these earbuds, and they sound amazing, especially in the lower registers (bass region). I misplaced them, but I'm about to order another pair. I also own a pair of their vintage home speakers (model XPL200). JBL speakers are known for their accurate, round bass, and these earbuds deliver just that, and more. Big JBL fan!

whats the difference between the T290 and the t210? im planning to buy either one of these but what maked the t290 more expensive?

Asked by: _kk_
Hi The JBL T290 headphones feature solid metal housing for the speakers. The T210 has a metallic "look" only. The sound signature on both is slightly different, where the T290 produces a different bass, mainly because of the more rigid housing. You would have to try the both of them, to be able to hear the difference. Both the T210 and T290 are excellent, and recommending one over the other, for us, is not possible, since how sound is perceived is very personal.

I'm not a headphones expert, I'm deciding between t210 or t290, what is the difference between them?

Asked by: Fernando1977
Hi, Thank you for the question. They are almost the same, expect that the housing of the earphone are different, where T290 is aluminum material and T210 are metallic, and the sound will be a bit better on T290. If you need more help, please contact our customer service.

Does it supports android phones n which one is better t110 or t290

Asked by: Steven2k18
Our headphones support both android and iOS products. The T290 would be better since it's made of sturdy materials.

My first question is: Is there an overall db rating? And also can jbls 8.7mm drivers keep up with lower quality brands that have 10mm or even 12mm driver? im sure i wouldnt be dissapointed ive come to love jbl because of my jbl xtreme i purchased

Asked by: Chris259
The T290 overall can produce an average of 85-110 decibels. The quality of the driver unit is what makes a to the sound. The bigger the size of the driver unit doesn't necessarily mean better. Our T290 have high quality 8.7mm drivers in comparison to other competitive brands that may have larger 10 or 12 mm drivers, but not necessarily higher in quality.

Asked by: HHLL
Hi. Sound quality is not an objective property, but in our opinion, the T290 is a better sounding model, with better bass.

i understand that your sport ear buds would be ideal for physical activity, but I want sound quality as good as the T290's. Is the sound quality of the T290 similar to the Inspire 300? 500?

Asked by: ishishi
The T290 has a driver of 8.7mm, the Inspire 300 has a driver of 14.2 mm while the inspire 500 has a driver has a driver of 15.4 mm. The bigger the size of the driver unit does not necessarily mean better, it is still subjective to the user's evaluation.
