What you are experiencing is not normal. There are a couple of things to check to make sure that they will work well together.
1.Distance between the two PULSE 2s – please make sure that they are within 10m range of each other since this is the maximum range for our devices. Please understand that this will decrease on a normal setup where wireless interference is present. (i.e. physical barrier between speakers)
2.Firmware version – if you have not done this yet, please download the JBL Connect Application on your Android/iOS device and pair each of your speakers. Make sure that both devices are updated to the latest version.
If none of these helped, please try to reset both speakers.
•Power on the Pulse 2
•For 2 seconds, press and hold the "Volume +" and "Play" buttons
•The Pulse 2 will power off, and is now reset
