Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! What else can I say but WT...!! In my 460 sq ft den this replaces my bulky 5.1 set up with sweet bassy sound. Best part is you can arrange the wireless satellites to accommodate your situation. This will not compete with a full big speaker system but very close for my room. A+

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No contractor needed Sounds incredible just moving the rear channel from the front to the back is great. Not having dudes in my attic disturbing the blown in insulation made my decision.

Do the dimensions stated for the soundbar include the detachable rear speakers?

Asked by: Johnuk
I got this today. The total length of the bar with surround speakers attached to it is 45 inches. When the surrounds are removed, the bar is shorter than the Bar 3.1 and measures in at about 33.5 inches.

Can the rear speakers be constantly connected to the power outlet rather than being put back to the main soundbar for recharging? I noticed some mini USB sockets in the rear speakers but wanted to double check. Thank you!

Asked by: marioT86
Yes, I have this system and the rear speakers can be powered via mini usb so you don’t have to reconnect them to the main soundbar for charging.

Hi, when I paired my soundbar with my TV using ARC, the sound bar automatically turns to mute and cannot be canceled by either TV or soundbar's remote. I can reboot the TV or switch the source of the soundbar to solve the problem. Is it normal?

Asked by: Michael_X
Hello, I have exactly the same problem. It’s always on mute, I have to power it off and on, and switch tv audio output settings all the time !!

The satellite speakers can also be charged remotely through its USB charging port. In order to keep them independent 24/7, can I use regular phone charger to charge the batteries?

Asked by: Mitu
Yes, each wireless surround speaker can charge via the USB connector, located on the bottom of the speaker.

Hi, I paired my soundbar with my TV using ARC., this way I can also use my tv'S remote controller for the sound bar. WHen I turn off my tv, the soundbar goes on standby mode. Is there a way to to make it turn off completely when turning off tv? Thanks!

Asked by: kikiturc
Stand by is the only option i guess... there is no option turn it off completely (at least based on the manual). Please correct me if i'm wrong.

Does the JBL Bar 5.1 properly pass-thru and/or process Dolby Vision? And just to confirm this bar will NOT pass--thru and/or process Atmos and/or DTS-X. Thank you

Asked by: tyjon31
Correct, The JBL Bar 5.1 Supports HDR/HDR10/Dolby Vision pass-through as the HDMi Ports in the bar are HDCP 2.2 which should be compatible with it. Unfortunately, Dolby Atmos and DTS-x are not supported .
